Screening Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to the Jurnal Mappesona are checked using Turnitin. Articles found to contain more than 20% plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be rejected.

Authors must maintain academic integrity by citing sources when using ideas, data, or words from other authors. General information does not need to be cited, but specific details (names, numbers, locations, etc.) must be accompanied by references.

The use of ideas must still cite the original source, even if they are further developed. Meanwhile, if using the exact same sentence from another source (four words or more), it must be quoted and cited.

Jurnal Mappesona prioritizes scientific integrity and reserves the right to retract articles that violate the rules. Further information can be obtained via mappesonajournal@gmail.com
