Jurnal Ar-Risalah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam is dedicated to publishing scholarly works that explore both normative and empirical aspects of Islamic Family Law. It provides an academic platform for the dissemination of research, legal reform, and the integration of theory and practice, with particular emphasis on marriage, inheritance, guardianship, children’s rights, family property, and the jurisdiction of Religious Courts. The journal also welcomes studies on contemporary challenges, digital transformation, and comparative perspectives to enrich academic discourse and strengthen the role of Islamic Family Law in addressing the needs of modern society. The scope of the journal includes but is not limited to the following areas:

• Marriage: registration, polygamy, divorce, ṭalāq, rujuʿ, and fasakh.
• Inheritance and Will: inheritance distribution, obligatory bequest (waṣiyyah wājibah), and grants.
• Guardianship and Children: parental rights and obligations, custody (ḥaḍānah), guardianship (wilāyah), and child protection.
• Family Property: joint marital property, dowry (mahr), financial maintenance (nafaqah), and household economic responsibilities.
• Religious Courts: jurisdiction, procedural mechanisms, mediation, and implementation of judicial decisions.
• Contemporary Issues: interfaith marriage, unregistered marriage (nikah siri), child marriage, and the digitalization of family law (e-court, online administration).
• Comparative and Reform Studies: comparative perspectives on family law in different countries, reforms in Islamic Family Law, and the impact of globalization.
