This article discusses the concept of descent according to the Koran, which includes spiritual, social and legal aspects. The Qur'an emphasizes the importance of heredity as part of human identity and relationships between individuals. In a spiritual context, offspring is seen as a gift from God that must be protected and appreciated. Certain verses highlight the origins of humanity from the Prophets Adam and Eve, indicating that all human beings share the same relationship as creatures created by Allah. By understanding the concept of heredity according to the Qur'an, it is hoped that readers can better appreciate family values and the responsibilities carried out in maintaining relationships between generations. This research uses tafsir analysis to explore the deep meaning of verses relating to descent in the Al-Qur'an. Keturunan means "children and grandchildren or generations".  According to the object of study (QS ²Ali 'Imran: 38-40) the pronunciation surriyah tayyibah is used which is considered to be the translation of "good offspring". The pronunciation consists of the vocabulary surriyah and tayyibah.
