This article discusses the humanistic side of Islamic education as reflected in Surah An-Nahl verse 125, which emphasizes a wisdom-based approach, good lessons and constructive dialogue. This research begins by reviewing the history of humanistic education from the Roman era to the modern era, identifying its relevance to Islamic values which are oriented towards divinity. In Islam, education not only focuses on developing individual potential, but is also directed at bringing humans closer to God through useful knowledge. Islamic educational methods include wisdom (hikmah), giving good advice, and gentle dialogue, which emphasizes the process without forcing results, leaving it to the will of God. This approach emphasizes that Islamic education is humanistic, respects human limitations, and seeks to form individuals who contribute positively to society. Thus, education in Islam not only humanizes people but also directs them towards noble spiritual values.
