IDEOLOGI AGAMA DAN METODOLOGI DAKWAH PARA DA’I SALAFI DI KABUPATEN BONE

ABSTRACT
This article discusses the religious ideology and da’wah methodology of Salafi preachers (da’i) in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. The Salafi movement is known as an Islamic movement focusing on purifying Islamic teachings based on the understanding of the early generations of Muslims (salafush shalih). This study outlines the fundamental principles underlying Salafi da’wah, including tawhid (monotheism), the purification of faith from shirk and bid'ah, and adherence to the methodology of the Salaf (manhaj Salaf). Additionally, this article analyzes the da’wah strategies employed by Salafi preachers in Bone Regency, such as mosque lectures, the use of social media, and the establishment of Salafi-based educational institutions. The findings indicate that Salafi preachers adopt a textualist approach in conveying Islamic teachings, emphasizing the Qur'an and Hadith as the primary sources of Islamic law. They utilize social media to engage younger audiences and expand their outreach. While firm in their stance against bid'ah, Salafi preachers in Bone maintain a tolerant attitude in social interactions, especially in community activities.
