Abstract

This research is a critical study to investigate the comparison of the hermeneutical method. Hadith Perspective of Khaled M. Aboe Fadl and M. Syuhudi Ismail. The research method used is descriptive and comparative methods. The data collection technique used in this research is library research. The results of the study reveal that Khaled M. Abou el fadl's hermeneutic thinking in understanding hadith. that the hadith must be understood more objectively by looking at historical factors, other than that Khaled evaluates hadith which is considered contrary to the principles of the Koran and social. Meanwhile, the Hadith from M.Syuhudi's perspective states that hadith is the same as what is defined by classical scholars, it's just that Syuhudi offers a method of analyzing hadith in a way. Through the form of the Hadith eyes and the scope of the instructions. This point has several sub-criteria, namely: first, through the content of the Hadith by being connected to the function of the Prophet. Second, through the guidance of the Prophet's Hadith which is related to the background of the occurrence. And third, by looking at the Hadith that seem contradictory.
