Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the Sanrego Village community in producing Dodol Bolsa as a high-value local product with strong economic potential and market competitiveness. The implementation employed participatory and hands-on demonstration methods, including training on selecting high-quality raw materials, improving processing and cooking techniques, introducing modern packaging practices, and strengthening digital marketing skills based on entrepreneurial literacy. These activities were designed to improve the community’s understanding of food quality standards, hygiene principles, and efficient production methods grounded in scientific knowledge. The results show significant improvement in partners’ skills in processing raw materials properly, producing dodol with more consistent texture and taste, enhancing product visual appeal through professional packaging and labeling, and increasing awareness of online marketing opportunities. This program contributes to applied knowledge development, particularly entrepreneurship education rooted in local potential, and reinforces the integration of traditional food production theory with community empowerment practice. Overall, the program not only improves the quality of Dodol Bolsa but also promotes village economic independence and vocational education development based on local wisdom.
